The bulls win!!! 4-10

We finally have our first winning streak of the season! The bulls came out firing and got great performances from most of it's key players in tonight's win over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Ben Gordon led the charge by scoring 34 points, pulling down 4 boards, and dropping 5 dimes. Luol Deng followed close behind, scoring 29 points and pulling down 6 boards. Ben Wallace had his best performance of the season so far by getting a double-double with 10 points and a season-high 19 rebounds. Big Ben also had 5 steals and 4 blocks in a great all around effort. Andres Nocioni was the only notable contributor off the bench with a near double-double of his own, notching 17 points and 9 rebounds in 30 minutes of action. Again, this was a great performance from most of the bulls key players.

And now for the terr-a-bull of the night.....

Kirk Hinrich negated the seven assists he compiled by giving the ball away six times. Hinrich now has 45 turnovers on the season; compare this to his 76 assists and you'll see that he's giving the ball away almost as many times as he's picking up an assist. That ratio is actually terrible for a point guard, in case you didn't know.

By the way, has anyone seen the bulls bench? Other than Nocioni, we may as well have set up 5 chairs out on the court as we probably would have gotten more production. I can't even name any of those guys anymore. Unfortunately, Joakim Noah was hurt in the process and it would be to the team's benefit if he didn't miss much action. I can't believe I just said that (my friends know that I'm not a big fan of Noah, but I can't deny the energy he brings to the court. Damnit). Fortunately, we were able to overcome the bench's impotence and we picked up a good win.

Only six more wins to go until we're at .500 ball.
